“You’re so young to be getting this procedure”

yayIt all went well today. My colon was mostly okay, though there was some red lining that they biopsied to see what antibacterial meds I need.

Side note: Anesthesia is kind of awesome. One moment I was sitting there, cringing because the nurses were listening/swaying to some Rihanna song, and the next minute I was waking up, babbling incoherently and ready to leave. Good good times not remembering any of it.

Glad to hear everything went well. And I absolutely agree about anesthesia. When I had knee surgery, I went from thinking, “Seriously? They want me to count backwards from 10? This is totally not going to work. Whatever. 10. 9. 8–zzzzz,” to waking up and asking two very unamused nurses where I was and who took my pants.

Hope you enjoyed your return to the world of non-liquid diets 🙂
