My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean

Oh, Best Buy. You really shouldn’t have put this and this on sale because now I’m uploading 1 gb worth of kid songs to my ipod, and am plotting which tracks would be great to use in therapy for articulation errors. 190 songs is excessive, but how can one resist having tunes like “There’s A Hole In My Bucket” (cheers to teaching young girls how to nag) and “John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt” (yay, faux British accent) in your music library?

Don’t worry about the potential mental atrophy, I’m balancing it out by watching Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth with Bill Moyers. Singing along to Camptown Races while hearing about our human connection through myth and ritual is good times.
